About me

My name is Dr. Newsom and I help leaders navigate the tough issues we deal with every day by providing resources for practical application and by sharing my stories. I hold an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership and have been an educational leader in early childhood since 2010. I began writing as a coping mechanism in my search for how to be an excellent leader. I am frequently faced with circumstances needing a wise response, and too often don't have the answer - thus, I read and research until an answer is found. Speaking and writing are my ways of sharing with others the lessons I am learning.
